A Robust and Time-Tested Design The Hornet is built around a simple yet incredibly durable ABS box-type frame. Its suspension setup is a classic swing axle in the front and a rolling rigid axle in the rear, providing that signature bouncy, fun handling that Hornet fans have loved for decades. With rear oil-filled dampers to soak up the bumps and a sealed gearbox to keep dirt away from the gears, this buggy is designed for rugged, worry-free backyard bashing.

Precision Performance in a Simple Package While it looks like a work of art, this Hornet is a fully functional rear-wheel-drive racer. The internal 3-bevel differential gear ensures smooth cornering, while the high-torque Type 540 motor provides plenty of punch for its lightweight 874g frame. This kit features Jun Watanabe’s signature 3-piece wheels and pin spike tires, but it also includes a set of standard black tires for when you want to switch up the style or save the pink rubber for special occasions.
