The AR Chassis: Aerodynamic Excellence and Easy Maintenance The reinforced AR Chassis is the heart of this Cyclone Magnum, engineered with a heavy focus on cooling and durability. Molded in a stark white ABS plastic and paired with blue low-friction A parts, its sculpted underside allows air to flow through the interior, cooling the motor and batteries during long runs on the track. One of the biggest advantages of the AR platform is the ability to swap batteries and motors via the under-panel and diffuser without ever removing the body shell. This rigidity and ease of maintenance make it a favorite for busy race days at our Orleans shop.

Sleek Styling for Maximum Airflow Every curve of the Cyclone Magnum is designed to cut through the air. The clear polycarbonate body drastically lowers the car's center of gravity compared to standard hard plastic shells. Tamiya perfectly contrasts the clear body and white chassis with vibrant fluorescent green spiral spoke wheels. Wrapped in black super-hard, small-diameter low-profile tires, this machine is built to stay planted and maintain momentum through technical sections without bouncing off the course.

Hobby Hideaway Pro Tip: Because this kit features a clear polycarbonate shell, you will need to paint it yourself to get that classic Magnum look! Tamiya specifically recommends using their PS-1 White polycarbonate spray paint. Remember to gently wash the inside of the shell with mild dish soap to remove any molding oils before applying the paint to the inside of the body. Pairing this ultra-lightweight shell with the included super-hard tires means your car will have an incredibly low center of gravity, making it a cornering beast on our track!
